Zoran Andric je rodjen 29. januara 1960. godine u Valjevu. Likovno se izražava od ranog detinjstva. Likovno se vaspitava u novosadskoj umetničkoj školi 1974 – 1980. Posećuje Luvr i Muzej impresionista u Parizu 1981. Izlaže svoje crteže i slike od 1979. na zajedničkim i samostalnim izložbama a od 1992. ima i stalne postavke u svojoj slikarskoj radionici “Višnja” u Valjevu. Od 2003. učestvuje na likovnim kolonijama u zemlji i inostranstvu. Redovan je član ULUS-a. Samostalno je izlagao 20 puta i na oko 30 zajedničkih izložbi u Beogradu, Novom Sadu, Mariboru, Zemunu, Novom Pazaru, Podgorici, Gornjem Milanovcu, Šapcu, Subotici itd. Slike mu se nalaze u mnogim privatnim kolekcijama širom sveta, u Narodnom muzeju u Beogradu i muzeju Vojvodine u Novom Sadu.Od 1996. istoričar umetnosti, predsednik Jugoslovenske sekcije Međunarodnog udruženja likovnih kritičara (AICA), Prof. dr Katarina Ambrozić, postavlja i otvara tri njegove samostalne izložbe a u katalogu 1999.godine piše: “ ETIDE ZA ZAVIČAJNI PEJZAŽ Od rane mladosti Zoran Andrić upire zadivljen pogled u predeo sa vodenicom na reci Gradac kod Valjeva. To je početak geneze uvek istog, a uvek različitog motiva umetnikovog zavičajnog pejzaža. Iz tog kontinuiranog likovnog dijaloga, satkanog od svetla i boje što se prelamaju kroz bljesak rečnih ogledala, razvija se međuodnos prirode i sopstvenog umetnikovog bića. Pledirajući u odnosu priroda – umetnik za apsolutnu nezavisnost slikareve vizije, ekspresionistički temperament umetnika uobličio je likovni doživljaj kao vid asocijativne lirske apstrakcije čije su varijacije beskrajne. Na tom putu: od podsticaja do doživljaja, od doživljaja do likovnog ostvarenja vizije, traje duga i uporna elaboracija znanog motiva uz tragalačku radoznalost u ispitivanju mogućnosti koje slikaru pružaju različiti mediji i njihove tehnike. Tako su nastajale mnoge slike u tehnici: crteža, pastela, ulja i akvarela u čast samo jednog predela. Ova Andrićeva velika tema, od genetskog je značaja za ceo njegov opus, a njena realizacija, posmatrana iz likovnog i estetskog aspekta izuzetna je pojava u našoj savremenoj umetnosti.
Kao gost Ruskog doma u Beogradu, Andrić prikazuje seriju ovih dana nastalih akvarela, u svojoj omiljenoj tehnici u kojoj je neosporno jedan od najboljih majstora u nas. Akvareli ovog perioda satkani od apstraktno bojene prozračnosti u kojima hromatski odnosi harmonije i kontrasta stvaraju intimne poetske zvuke, a poseduju svoj unutarnji ritam koji blago dinamizuje površinu slike, te ona sugeriše neprestano tiho kretanje. Nove slike ukazuju na spiritualizovanu snagu poetske imaginacije, što rađa dela kao samosvojne tvorevine, pa im je projekcija nemerljiva i neograničena. Uz to uvek osetan senzibilitet lirskog naboja prožima i ove Andrićeve slike. Otuda je dijalog sa gledaocem nenametljiv i suptilan, ali Andrićevo delo se ne otvara na površan osvrt. Ono traži pažnju, poverenje i duže posmatranje – i tada slika, često nevelikih dimenzija uzvraća gledaocu slojevitošću lepote čistog slikarstva.“

The painter was 1960. in Valjevo, Serbia. He has been engaged in art since his earlu childhood. He gained his art education at a art school of Novi Sad. He has visits to the Louvre and Museum of impresionists since 1981. His paintings have been exhibited since 1979. and since 1992. he has had continuous exhibitions in his own studio „Višnja“ in Valjevo. Since 2003. he has for invitation art colonies both in Serbia and abroad. He is a full time member of ULUS (Serbian association of Fine artists) He has 21 independents exhibitions and ower 30 commons in Belgrade, Novi SAD, Maribor, Zemun, Novi Pazar, Podgorica, Gornji Milanovac, Šabac, Subotica... His paintings are in many private collections throughout the world, in the
National Museum, Belgrade and the Museum of Vojvodina, Novi Sad. Since 1996. historian of art, president of Yugoslavie section Inter- – etnik society of fine arts critikque (AICA), Prof. dr Katarina Ambrozić has organized and opened three of his independents exhibitions and to cataloques 1999. She writing: “ ETHIDE TO HOMELAND LANDSCAPE - Since this earlu youth Zoran Andrić has been amazed by the mill on the river Gradac in Valjevo. It represents the genesis of an ever-changing motive, vhich has, on the other hand, remained recognizable throughout his work. The artist’s continuous dialogue with the river, made of light and colours of reflecting water mirrors, has created a commons relationship between the nature and the painter’s creative mind. Pleding for absolute independence of the painter’s vision, his expressionistic temperament tends to make endless variations of lirical abstraction. On this way: from abstraction to experience, from experience to the realization of the vision, there is a meticulous elaboration of the well-known motivethrough various media techniques. This is how he made many of his media paintings: drawings, oil paintings, pastels and watercolours– all in honour of one particular landscape. Andrić’s recurrent theme is important to all his works and its realization observe of fine art and aesthetic’s aspect is a unique phenomen in our contemporary art.
As guest Russian’s home in Belgrade, Andrić present’s series of recently made watercolours – his favourite technikue, by which he is widely known as one of the best masters in our countru. These watercolours are made of abstracts transparency characterized by a chromatic balance of harmony and contrast, which leads to the creation of intimate poetic sounds. Each of the sounds has its innate rhythm which subtly dynamizes the surface, suggesting endless calm movements. The new paintings refer to a spiritualized strength poetic imagination, creating highly individual works, unlimited and infinite in their scope. In addtion, the tanqible lyrical sensibility permeates Andrić’s paintings. From there the dialoque with a spectator is unintentional and subtile, but Andrić’s action is impenetrable at a first glance. It seeks attention, trust and observation and it is only then that a modest-sizedpaintingenriches the spectator with a multi-layered beauty of pure art.’’
